Rediscover Questacon this weekend
Questacon has long been a one of Canberra's family-favourite destinations. If it's been a while since you paid a visit, this is the weekend to drop in as entry will be free all weekend - 25-26 June 2016.
The initiative is appropriately titled "Rediscover Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre" and the purpose is to remind Canberrans (and tourists) how lucky we are to have such a comprehensive centre dedicated to science and technology on our doorstep.
Visitors can enjoy:
1. Free falling down a six metre slide 2. Experiencing an earthquake 3. Having a dance-off with a peacock spider 4. Staring in a Spectacular Science Show 5. Saving on entry fees (normally $23 per adult and $17.50 per child).
Questacon boasts more than 200 hands-on exhibits that are suitable for the entire family.
