This great little Espresso & Juice Bar is located right in the heart of The Junction, Noosa Heads.

I came across Quenchers last "Mo-vember", when they were selling $2 banana smoothies and boy, this café abuzz with people. So, I decided to wander back in and take a closer look at this healthy looking eatery.

Chatting with the hospitable Ivan, I quickly learned that all money made from those $2 smoothies went straight back into the community by supporting Mo-vember, and later, they held another one to support the Queensland flood appeals.
That's good karma in my book.

Not only do Quenchers offer a great range of juices, smoothies and fresh wraps (including toasted wraps – yum) they also offer a free delivery service to all the local businesses in the area. Their fresh wrap platters are a very popular choice for busy office workers.

All their takeaway cups and smoothie shakes/juice containers are biodegradable. Owner Baz said "some of our customers use these cups for planting seedlings in gardens – when you put them in the ground the cups disintegrate allowing the roots to grow."

What a perfect recycling idea!

Their take-away salad bowls are made from bocasse – a sugar cane bi product and all their green waste from the juicer pulp, organic coffee grind is composted in a customer's garden to help support a local school veg patch.

The fruit/vege is locally produced and the milk is from Kenilworth (pasteurised only). The coffee is organic and hails from Montville and locally roaster to order and they also have the biggest range of Acai drinks on the coast.

The owners and happy staff at Quenchers are very proud of the food created in their little café and they have good reason to be. It's fresh, wholesome, and organic where possible and created with the utmost care, along with a large dash of goodwill.

This is one café that I thoroughly recommend supporting. It's so great to see a family business trying their utmost to leave behind a smaller footprint.
