Readings St Kilda on Acland Street is well known for its wide range of books, support for independent publishers and local writers and activities that bring the arts and literary community together.

The best of books and gay and lesbian culture comes together at Readings St Kilda in January when the Midsumma Festival comes to town. In support of the annual celebration of gay and lesbian culture, the bookstore is hosting a Queer Literary Salon at 7pm. You can vote for your favourite titles to be featured on the night and gather with fellow readers to discuss queer culture and fiction over drinks.

The event is FREE but reservations are required by emailing to Amy Vuleta, Shop Manager at [email protected]. To vote for your favourite titles to be featured on the night, email Amy 100 words about your chosen book or books by 10 January 2015.
