For first time ever Australian drag queens and their admirers are being invited to dress up in their glitziest best for a celebration of diversity 'in all its forms' at the Oz Drag-Con Queen Expo. This colourful, glitter-ized, star-studded spectacle is the only one of it's kind and size outside of Sydney's Mardis Graz. Brought to you by Oz Drag-Con, this will be Australia's very first LGBTI plus Pop Culture expo. Don't miss this star-studded Queer Expo at the Melbourne Showgrounds on the weekend of 15th and 16th July 2017.
Dancing Queens. Nobody knows how to throw a party better than a drag queen, and this one is sure to be huge, but it's the motto on the website that really sums up this event. "A welcoming, accepting environment where all races, sexualities, creeds and genders are welcome." Where judgement is cast out into the cold, come enjoy this self-proclaimed celebration of hope, love and equality without discrimination, along with some of the most highly-regarded performers in the business flying in from right around the world to showcase their talents and show us all how it's done.
From feather boas to sweeping false lashes, The Queer Expo is a family friendly affair, open to all ages, where you can party right across the weekend. Day and weekend passes strut their stuff first, followed by a stiletto step up to a weekend pass. Select from either the VIP Emerald or VIP Ruby ticketing options. These gorgeous little gems include additional benefits and features such as general admission, a goodie filled gift bag, colour specific seating for performances and shows, priority queuing for photos and autographs with special guests, a bubble soaked cocktail party and more.
