The perfect place for family fun this weekend is the Queensland State Fair in Toowoomba . With lots of rides from Dodgem Cars to the shooting gallery, to the scream-able Freak Out, there's also hot fairground style food like Dagwood Dogs and chips plus Fairy Floss and cold drinks.





A three-tiered Fun House is filled with music and kids trying not to bang their knees on the revolving floor. The Wheel of Oz Ferris Wheel is a beauty but the most popular ride is the wild Freak Out.



It's running one more day, this Sunday from 11am to 9pm or 9:30pm depending on crowds and weather. There's a $2 entry fee with QR barcode and manual C19-safe entry. Enter from Hume Street, Frog's Hollow in Queens Park.

Other rides are the Haunted House, Kids Train Ride, Walk on Water Balls (it's harder than you think) and Bungee Trampolines. Rides on average are around $8. Playing a game begins at around $2. Win a plush toy and shoot little black ducks. Stay on for the fireworks in the evening. There's something for all the family at the Queensland State Fair in Toowoomba.
