If I could afford a new car and didn't have three children (two still in child restraints), I would buy a Mini Cooper . They're cute and compact yet sexy at the same time. Who can forget the magnificent Mini scenes in the movie The Italian Job (2003)?

If you're an admirer of Minis like me, check out the Queensland Mini Muster at Carina State School. Presented by the Mini Owners Club Queensland, the Mini Muster takes place on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 6am until 3pm. The day starts with a Mini swap meet followed by entertainment throughout the day. Visitors can view vintage Minis, new Minis, Mini Mokes, and more at the huge Show 'n' Shine.

Grab a drink or bite to eat at one of the food stalls while enjoying the entertainment. The Mini Triathlon is not to be missed. There will also be plenty of raffles and auctions including a lucky door prize – Story Bridge Adventure Climb for two. Entry costs $5. Children under 14 are free.

Carina State School is located at 1413 Creek Road in Carindale. For more information on the Mini Muster, click here. If you would like to become a member of the Mini Owners Club, contact the club on 0488 661 275.
