Informative Expo for Migrant Proprietors
Please note this event is postponed. Visit www.qmsbe.com.au for all the latest.

Being from a family who owned a business and understanding the process of buying and selling your product, profit and loss, and legalities in regard to tax processes and BAS statements, I appreciate it can be quite daunting for new proprietors and migrants who are contemplating starting their own business.

On Tuesday 29th May at the Queensland Multicultural Centre, the Queensland Migrant Small Business Expo will be held as a free one-day event. This event will give current and future migrants the requirements and obligations they need to set up a business in Australia. Former NBL player and international motivational speaker, Eric Bailey, is the keynote speaker on the day; however, there will be other industry leading speakers and a wide range of exhibitors.

Some of the other exhibitors will include the Australian Taxation Office, Work Cover and Australian Securities and Investment Commission, which are all invaluable to a new business owner.
