Queensland's majestic Government House, "Fernberg" will be open to the public on Saturday, 13 October from 9.45am to 4.15pm as part of Brisbane Open House program.
Fernberg is a heritage-listed, State-owned, working residence of Governors (since 1910) and is surrounded by 14 hectares. Take a stroll in the wonderfully manicured surrounds and enjoy expert, guided tours of the House and gardens which will commence from the historic West Indian cedar tree every 15 minutes until 3.45pm. The house sits proudly on the hills of Paddington with scenic views of the Brisbane skyline.
If you are looking to capture a snap of your experience, photography and video are permitted around the estate and limited photography with no flash is permitted inside Government House, with staff direction.
Visitor parking is available on the streets surrounding Government House and limited disabled access parking is available on-site. (Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted)
You can get your tickets via Eventbrite from 9am, 28 September 2018.
