Get a shovel load of gardening tips, and helpful hints and view the sensational floral displays to get your home brimming with green and a splash of colour at the Queensland Garden Expo2024.

The four-day horticultural expo will be taking over the Nambour Showgrounds from 4 to 7 July 2024 on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

This year is particularly special since it is the 40th anniversary of the Show and against this tradition will again have experts and guest speakers sharing ideas and welcoming visitors into the wonderful world of gardening.

Whether you are new to gardening or a seasoned professional, there is something for every green thumb.

For the Foodies there is:

A giant kitchen garden created as an epicentre of green living and sustainable practices. ;

A cook's garden stage providing information and resources to cultivate your very own produce to fill your kitchen and pantry with the food you have grown in your own backyard. Even more than that, the Cook's Garden will share with you important and valuable information about gardening, cooking, and holistic well-being.

For the Kids you can find:

Kids’ playground, complete with a giant slide, a jumping pillow, and a merry-go-round.

If you still need to be convinced about what's good about gardening, here are some reasons to explore your garden.

Gardening is good for your physical health with added exercise. Research has shown that gardening supports your mental health, mood and well-being by offering a positive mindset. It boosts creativity and helps your brain stay healthy. It increases strength and endurance. It provides a chance to grow social connections as well as encouraging good eating habits by growing healthy produce.

What Else
Tickets are available through the Shows' website and you can also buy them on the day at the gate. Single Day tickets can be used on any day of the event (single use). Children 15 and under are free with a paying adult. If one day is not enough, 2, 3 and 4 Day passes are also available.

The Nambour Showgrounds are located at Coronation Avenue, Nambour. Multi storey car parking is available on Mill Street for $5.00. There is also a free shuttle bus available from the Nambour Train station.
