The ultimate LAN party - with free entry and free espresso
InLAN Network Gaming is offering the perfect incentive to get your resident PC gamer (and their computer) out of the house and mingling face-to-face with other like-minded gamers this Queen's birthday weekend.
On Monday, 11th June 2018, InLAN will host QueensLAN at Blackwood Hills Baptist Church from 10am until 8pm. QueensLAN is a free event which will include an endless supply of espresso coffee to sustain the most earnest of gamers - participants will need to bring their own food/drinks and/or money to buy food/drinks in the organised lunch and dinner runs.
Games likely to be played at QueensLAN include Star Wars: The Old Republic; Forza Horizons 3; Overwatch; Dreadnought; Guild Wars 2; Rocket League; War Thunder; Factorio; EVE Online; Team Fortress 2; Starcraft 2; Hearthstone; DOTA 2; Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; League of Legends.
Registration: Register online at Eventbrite - participants aged under 18yo are required to bring a completed InLAN registration form which has been signed by their parent/guardian (download the form here).
What to bring: Participants need to bring their own hardware - information on what to bring can be found here; notably, there are specifics about network setup and it states to bring a power board as there is an allocation of one power socket per player.
Event rules can be found here - it is important to read them as they detail what equipment and games will not be permitted eg. speakers and R18 rated games are not permitted.
