Music & Merriment in a Magical Town
Queenscliff Music Festival
Hot Potato Band
Am I excited? Yes. Can I wait until the last weekend in November? No. Why? Because this music fest is surely one of the country's best - and I'm lucky to say I've been to the best of them.

What separates QMF, as she's fondly known, from the rest is not only the stellar lineup year after year and the stunning seaside location in one of Victoria's most charismatic towns, but the family-friendly, all-inclusive atmosphere that makes you feel right at home every time.

It's easy to negotiate, really well organised and offers much more than excellent music by acclaimed local, national and international acts, including a fantastic market, lots of food trucks, morning yoga classes, and a pretty, historic town brimming with cafes, bakeries, historic pubs, bookshops and collectables to, along with some awesome buskers, keep you on your toes.

This year's lineup features Xavier Rudd on Friday night. Be still my beating heart, his multi-instrumented musical talent and spirited message resonating from the stage with a global band of talented musicians. You can't walk away from a Xavier Rudd performance unchanged. Have a listen to Follow The Sun - and follow your heart to an uplifting spring fest with the best.

Other headline acts include singer-songwriter and Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning, Melbourne chart-toppers The Temper Trap, soulful Powerhouse front-woman Nai Palm, Australian music icons Yothu Yindi & The Treaty Project, Aussie roots band The Beautiful Girls, multi-Aria award-winning Mia Dyson, Aussie rock legend Russell Morris and many more.

With dozens of band populating anything from huge marquis and quaint cafes to hotel courtyards and street corners, QMF offers a diverse array of music for all tastes and ages.

Don't delay. Last I checked, very few tickets remained, but there's also a Buy, Swap, Sell option.

Get your dancing shoes on, I'll see you there.

As for how to get there, just follow the sun.
