I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Food and Drink Fit For a King
A variety of food and entertainment can be found at
Queens Wharf Hotel. This is a lovely venue in sunny weather but there are also indoor fireplaces and outdoor heaters to create a cosy Winter space.

Lunch with a view
The $12 weekday lunch specials are great value and there are plenty of other tasty options on the
menu. As well as a happy hour from 4-6pm on week nights there are a range of
daily specials.

Steak special
The 220g Nolan rump was perfectly cooked and the gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce was tasty but not too rich.

$12 special
We are often here enjoying the sights of tugs and tankers and fishing families whilst imbibing a cool beverage. The addition of entertainment during Sunday sessions from 1pm adds to the overall experience. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves and no one is in a hurry to leave.
The Queens Wharf Hotel is great for couples, families and groups and they also cater for
functiins.
