Another beautiful thing is the fact that there is still lots of lush lawn areas for picnic rugs and kicking a footy or playing a spot of soccer. The toilet amenities are modern and there are several BBQs on offer as well as numerous picnic seats and benches.
An abundance of new plantings amongst the existing trees!
The park also has bridge access on the East side leading to the popular Beechworth Bakery, which provides a wonderful selection of hot food, sandwiches and sweets which would be perfect for a picnic in the park!
On the Badger Creek Road side of Queens Park, there is a pedestrian walkway which leads to the wonderful Main Street of Healesville, beginning with the inviting cafe Habituel, which offers great coffee and lovely treats!
Plenty of shade trees and plenty of seats - winning!
