The Queen's Head Hotel

Located in the heart of North Adelaide, the Queen's Head is perfect for a quiet drink, a bite to eat or a larger event.

With very reasonable prices, the food is great! It is a basic pub menu but with their own twist on each item. You certainly can't go past the chips with aioli - just about the best that I've had.

As for the drinks, there is a wide selection of wines, cider and beer on tap, however these are a little pricier. If you're really in for a bargain then the app is a must have for all iPhone users. Points are accumulated for checking in on Facebook and points translate into 2 for 1 drink offers. Great for the regulars!

The atmosphere is one of elegance, yet cosy. Sitting by the fire could warm you up on any given winter's day and the beer garden is perfect for event hire and having a meal with some mates.

The one point worth mentioning is the residential college next door. Whilst the students generally keep to themselves, the odd pub crawl does go through, so if all that you want is a quiet night then it's probably worth getting there a little early!

All in all. it's a versatile place and suitable for most and incidentally is the oldest pub in Adelaide. You'll just have to check it out for yourselves!
