Queen Victoria Market's LUNA 1878 will help welcome the AIDS 2014 delegates to Melbourne. These international visitors and residents alike will get to enjoy this Melbourne tradition of open fires, mulled wine, street food, artisans, performers and food producers in the historic market sheds from 5pm to 10pm. For this special day, Youth Empowerment Against HIV/AIDS (YEAH) and the Melbourne Youth Force will be organising fun and interactive activities including a ‘global cultural exchange’. Visitors can adding their own personal message of what they loved most about their time in Melbourne to the LOVE MELBOURNE sculpture and in exchange, take one of the existing iconic ‘Aussie’ key ring messages home as a memento. This activity will take place between 7-8pm at the main entrance to the Winter Night Market on Queen Street. There will also be a lighting and sound installation by mixed-media artist Kit Webster.
