Enjoy the serenity of a bushland escape
On the edge of the Queensland Scenic Rim nestles Queen Mary Falls, 40 minutes east of Warwick and 2 hours' drive from the Gold Coast. The roads are all sealed and well marked, but for those looking for a bit of adventure, there is a picturesque 4wheel drive route. The numerous bushwalks, icy cold waterfalls and abundant wildlife make this an enjoyable day trip destination but, why not stay a few days and see all that the area has to offer? It is, after all, a lovely drive from there to the Granite Belt, Stanthorpe and the wineries.

Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park and Cabins is a very popular spot to stay with powered camping and caravan sites or self-contained cabins, luxury spa cabin and even the fully self-contained BottleBrush House with full sized kitchen, lounge room, dining room and 3 bedrooms. The camping facilities includes camp kitchen, cafe/office, laundry and amenities block with baby bathroom.

You'll find plenty to do. There are easy walking tracks and wonderful views; a more strenuous trek with creek crossings to the icy cold Brown Falls; feeding the king parrots and rosellas at the Falls Cafe while enjoying the gourmet burgers or devonshire teas or spotting the bandicoots and kangaroos on a Twilight Native Walk and hand feeding the possums.

Killarney, a small and well-kept country town, is only 10 kms away and, with well-equipped playgrounds for the kids,a cosy coffee shop and quality handmade gifts, is well worth a visit.
