RMS Queen Mary 2 is one of those ships which is simply celebrated! Known as one of Cunard's three queens, Queen Mary 2 is said to be the most famous ocean liner in the world with modern elegance and scale like no other.

Alongside sister ships Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth , Queen Mary 2 brings unbridled elegance and sophistication for those lucky enough to get the chance to undertake a voyage upon her.

On Friday 16 February 2018, Queen Mary 2 will grace Adelaide's outer harbour with her presence. Arriving at 7 am, she will be available for you to gaze longingly upon her right through until 7.30 pm, when she will once again depart. This is her only visit to Adelaide this season, so take this opportunity while you can.

Queen Mary 2 departed on her 134 night World Cruise from New York on 3 January 2018 and will find herself in Adelaide on the 45th day following visits to the United Kingdom, Portugal, Canary Islands, Namibia, South Africa, Reunion Islands and Mauritius. She will traverse the southern parts of Australia before cruising across to New Zealand and then up the Australian east coast, underneath the Asian continent and through the Suez Canal before returning to New York on 17 May 2018.

If 134 nights is just way too much cruising, guests can choose to join the cruise at Southampton for a 120 night cruise, or one of the various sector cruises ranging from 4 nights to 60 nights.

At 343 metres in length and with 14 passenger decks, Queen Mary 2 carries 2,695 passengers and 1,253 crew.

Queen Mary 2 has five main dining rooms , two speciality dining options and six bars and lounges ensuring there is an option for any mood or requirement, or if you would like a quiet dinner with your significant other, in room service is available.

Entertainment is world-class with live music and west-end style shows. Shopping on board is a joy with jewellery, fashion, fragrances and gifts at guests fingertips. For those who like to be active there is a gym, sports courts and pools or if they just like to watch, live sport is available to view.

Children are kept entertained, with a play zone for the younger ones and kids zone for the 8 to 17 year olds. The teen zone is a special area for 13 to 17 year olds which includes deck sports, discos, gaming consoles and more.

When guests are done for the day and ready to lay down their head there is a range of luxurious accommodation available from the Queen's Grill to the Princess Grill, Britannia Club and Britannia State Rooms.

Queen Mary 2 is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious vessels available and very high on the wishlist for those who like cruising. Cruising on this majestic lady is far more than a cruise, it is an experience far beyond what you will get on another ship.

The pièce de résistance, Queen Mary 2 is the only ocean liner where guests can bring their furbabies to enjoy the cruise with them, truly setting her apart from other ships.

Please Note: This is a viewing only event, and no access is available onboard.
