QUARTET a four play.
Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre.
39-41 Castella Street,

The Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre Company presents four plays per year.

The Athenaeum Theatre

The current season is Quartet.

The Programme.

A funny and poignant play. Characters Cecily, Reggie and Wilfred live in a home for retired opera singers in Kent, England.

Each year, on the tenth of October, there is a concert to celebrate composer Giuseppe Verdi's birthday.

Jean, a major star in her day and to whom Reginald was once unhappily married, arrives at the home and upsets the equilibrium, by acting like a diva and refusing to sing.
