In between the wave crashing beach and the Seaford Shopping centre is the Quadrant Terrace Park. A small spot that offers ample space for running and playing and a playground for children to explore.

Quadrant Terrace Park Playground

The playground is the main attraction of Quadrant Terrace Park. It is a simple one with a slide and swings. This is one playground that may not be able to capture the imagination of a group of children for hours, but it is a nice quiet spot, and excellent if you want to bring a younger child for some fun. There is a seat nearby the park that allows parents or guardians a spot to watch children play.

There is plenty of open space for running around, this will probably entertain older children more than the playground. Bring things like balls, frisbees, cricket sets, or other equipment to the park to take full advantage of its space. Children who already have ample space to run around at home may not be that impressed, but if you have a small backyard this is a good park.

A space for practicing shooting hoops will help any aspiring basketball or netball players. It is a basketball hoop, but could easily be used by either to help improve your aim. Basketball hoops are less common in parks, so this is where the Quadrant Terrace Park delivers.

Quadrant Terrace Park does not feature stunning surroundings, perfect for picnics, or extremely exciting playground equipment, but it is still a nice place to get a break from suburban streets. There is a bench, but no undercover areas or facilities appropriate for much else.

If you're looking for somewhere in the area that has a few more facilities then check out the Onkaparinga City Council's list of parks and reserves.
