Are you a skeptic, or someone interested in science and reason, looking to meet like-minded people? Are you interested to find out more about science related topics such as genetics or robotics? Come along to the Queensland Skeptics dinner and talk.
The Queensland Skeptics meet on the last Monday of each month from February through November at the The Junction Hotel, cnr Ipswich and Annerley Rd, Annerley. Dinner is from 6pm, with the speaker coming on at 7.30.
Past guests and topics have included Peter Gresshoff, Emeritus Professor/Emeritus Director from the Centre for Integrative Legume Research at the University of Queensland, speaking on genetics, Professor Rosa Alati on drugs of addiction, and Dr Sue Keay on robotics.
Entry is $3. Some off-street parking is available, plus paid on-street parking until 7pm.
There is no need to book, just come along, even bring a friend if you like!
