Are you looking for a luxury weekend away?
If yes is your answer then look no further as I have found the perfect resort for you.
This weekend I had the pleasure of a sneak peak at the Sub-Penthouse at the Q1 Resort and Spa situated on level 65 just 12 levels from the Q Deck.
Talk about a room with a view; the sub penthouse is everything you could imagine and more. It is a little bit of luxury without the luxury price tag, Book this room at the right time and you could get a real bargain.
The view is just incredible it's just like being on the Q Deck sweeping 180 degree views but staying a little longer. On a clear day you can see right up north to Brisbane and south down to Byron Bay and even west out to Mount Tambourine in the Gold Coast Hinterland. You feel like you are on top of the world looking down on all the other high-rise buildings in Surfers Paradise. The people swimming in the ocean look like ants because you are up so high and the scenic flight helicopters fly at eye level.
The sub penthouse has enough room for the whole family, with 3 bedrooms (all with ensuites), 2 spa baths, a parents (or as we found out "children's") retreat with a TV and couch, a living area, and indoor and outdoor covered dining area, as well as a kitchen most only dream of cooking in. All this in an apartment in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
Q1 Resort and Spa also has a magnificent swimming pool and a spa, which is a must visit for pure relaxation). There is also an array of stores beneath the resort such as restaurants open from lunch until late, a convenience store, a Cold Rock ice cream store (which the kids will love), and of course, an attractions booking desk.
Located at 9 Hamilton Ave, Surfers Paradise, Q1 is a must if luxury and simplicity are your things. And if you're going to stay here why not go all the way and treat yourself (and/or the family) to a unique weekend stay at the Sub-Penthouse?
