Life is about the journey - some roads are not always what they seem but you sure learn a great deal from them!
at Stirling Libraries
With the introduction of the television, computer games, internet and phones there has been a huge decline in reading. Not only are kids reading less, but their spelling and vocabulary is at its all-time low. This is a shame because reading gives little minds the opportunity to imagine! And imagination is the critical for creativity and brain development.
Pajama story time and pizza - makes one adventurous night out!
This year, Stirling Libraries is getting together to encourage kids to read more. They are doing this through their 'Pyjama Story time and Pizza'! Stories, rhymes will be told which will also accompany some songs.
The Pyjama Storytime and Pizza evening will be held at 6 different locations on the 28th and 29th of August from 6pm to 7pm. Booking is essential and it is free.
Even if you have big kids, this would still be a great evening. I am a big kid too, and I also enjoy listening to someone tell a story. And you just never know, there just maybe something there that sparks an interest in reading a little more!
Below is a list of the libraries and the telephone numbers to make a booking. Enjoy!
