For the very first time, The Pyjama Foundation is hosting its famous Pyjama Party at Sea World. Everybody loves Sea World, Australia's most famous theme park, where creatures great and small share an aquatic paradise packed with fast and furious thrill rides. Run around the theme park at night in the comfort of your PJs and onesies, to help kids in foster care.
Friday 18 August 2017 at Sea World from 6:30pm – 10:00pm
I discovered The Pyjama Foundation in 2006, not long after it was founded by the indefatigable, Bronwyn Sheehan (Queensland Australian of the Year in 2009). Her vision is: "A world of unlimited opportunity for all children" and she is changing the world - one foster kid at a time.
I became a "Pyjama Angel" in the Love of Learning programme and read to two children in foster care. One of the values of the foundation is FUN and you can have plenty of it at Sea World while supporting little people with big dreams.
You can find out more about the work of The Pyjama Foundation and how you can get involved, at their website:
