Get out and about with the kids this Spring and Summer with PuzzleTrails!

PuzzleTrails offers a unique selection of downloadable, puzzle-themed, self-guided walking trails in some of Sydney's most well-known locations and national parks, such as Sydney Harbour, The Rocks, Royal Botanic Gardens and Narrabeen Lagoon State Park.

The PuzzleTrails team has done all the hard work, so you can enjoy a great day out with the kids! All you need to do is select a puzzle, your desired location and then the fun begins!

Currently, you can choose from three different puzzles:

  • Murder Mystery: A heinous murder has been committed! Whodunit? And with what weapon?

  • Explorer Quiz: Find the hidden clues and identify a famous Australian and the role they played in Australia's historic past!

  • Code Breaker: A dastardly hi-tech crime is in progress! This trail involves spies, villains and crooks, usually determined to cause mayhem and destruction!

Once you have downloaded your desired trail, you can begin the self-guided tour. The kids will love following the directions and reading the fun facts about the sights and attractions. Plus conveniences are pointed out en-route and there's usually a coffee shop or two to stop at!

Together you will look for clues along the trail that will help solve the mystery and also have fun exploring the local attractions and parks.

This is great way to enjoy all that Sydney has to offer, whilst keeping the family entertained. The trails are suitable for kids of all ages and are equally enjoyed by adults and tourists alike, as they offer adventure in addition to traditional sightseeing.

Best of all, PuzzleTrails are affordable at just $20 per family and can be easily downloaded to any smartphone or tablet. The booklet provides all the directions needed to complete the trail and you can easily retrace your steps if you miss a clue.

Free puzzles for kids can also be downloaded here.
