Putia Pure Heaven
I was lucky enough to stumble upon one of Brisbane's most lovely and sought after cafes. Putia Pure Food Kitchen is located in the heart of Banyo and lights up an otherwise ordinary street with its wonderful aroma and authentic charm.

The word 'Putia' is an old Sicilian word which means local store or local shop. Here, in this lovely little space, you will find beautiful fresh food, cakes and coffee. The range of dishes and boutique drinks prepared in Putia's open kitchen reflect the love of their diverse cuisines with a focus on freshness and simplicity, featuring local produce and edible herbs and flowers from their very own garden.

Located on Royal Parade, this is a place not to be missed. Their delicious meals and great Wolff coffee are only just the beginning. Their menu is extensive and has everything covered from breakfast to lunch. The ambience created in their thoughtfully adorned space makes you feel calm, cool and relaxed, just like any good cafe should. The music that swims through the air is relaxing, charming and tasteful, which for me, is a big plus.

Feeling like something sweet for brunch? How about some Sicilian ricotta cannoli doughnuts with whipped ricotta, passionfruit curd, passionfruit sorbet, toasted meringue, berries and white chocolate pistachio crumb? Yum!

Or how about something savoury? Don't be fooled by simplicity. These bacon and eggs were the perfect way to link up the gap between breakfast and lunch to make the perfect brunch.

Simple but beautiful breakfast.
