'Put Your Foot Down' Walk Adelaide 2013

Building on the success of last year, the second "Put Your Foot Down" Walk will be held in Adelaide on 3 November 2013 in support of Avner's Foundation. All profits from the walk will help fund research into Pancreatic Cancer in the hope of achieving our vision: "To break through 40 years of no progress by doubling the number of people who survive Pancreatic Cancer by 2020".

The walk will start beside Grange Jetty Café and will continue along the beach until walkers reach Henley Square where they will return to the start. Registration will be available on the day, but to avoid the queues register online where you can also set up individual or group fundraising pages.

Purple is the colour of Pancreatic Cancer, so be sure to wear something purple on the day! There will be prizes for most creatively dressed in purple adults and children as well as for the highest individual fundraiser and the highest team fundraiser.

But don't worry if you don't have anything purple in your wardrobe, purple "Put Your Foot Down" baseball caps and t-shirts will be on sale on the day.

There will also be a BBQ sausage sizzle and refreshment stall selling drinks, muffins and fruit. So put the date in your diary and register today!
