Is your purse hungry?
Take control of your finances
This time of year can be difficult for managing your money. You've just bought the kids Christmas presents, and maybe family too, or you might have lost your job, or need to move house. You're trying to please everyone and yet can't afford to buy yourself a decent cup of coffee.
School is starting in February, and you need money for all the upfront expenses like fees, uniforms, excursions and haircuts. Never fear! The Women's Information and Referral Exchange (WIRE) is here to help. WIRE is running The Purse Project across Victoria from 27 January to 18 February 2016.
It's a two hour practical workshop designed especially for women, who want to know how to be savvy with their money after a family crisis. Best of all - it won't cost you a cent - it's free!
To book call Sherri on (03) 9348 9416, or email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.wire.org.au/event/purseproject for details and to download flyers. You might want to invite a friend to join you to learn about your relationships with money.
Workshops will be held in Geelong, Ballarat, Warrnambool, Mildura and Pascoe Vale. The beginning of the New Year is the best time to learn about what's in your purse!
