Dig if you will a reflection on the life of Prince
Purple Reflection: Remembering Prince is a one woman tribute experience performed and created by Tanya Di Vella, in honour of the wonderful and talented musical artist Prince.
Other Prince songs which were performed included "Cream", "Little Red Corvette", "Raspberry Beret", "Holy River", "Call My Name", a shortened version of "Musicology" and of course, the Prince signature classic tune "Purple Rain".
Tanya's performance was engaging and her voice is well suited to singing Prince's songs. Through her own telling of some of the historical stages of Prince's life story, it was obvious that she was a true Prince fan herself.
Tanya also spoke of her visit to the famous Paisley Park, home and recording studio of Prince, for Celebration 2017.
Purple Reflection: Remembering Prince was held at the The Butterfly Club, an intimate and interesting venue in Carson Place, which is a little bluestone alley just off Little Collins Street, in the heart of Melbourne.
