Fun for all the family at this unique event of indulgence
If you want to tour a gelato factory, make your own gelato in a lab, devour all the gelato you can eat and help the Children's Cancer Institute research in the process, then this event is for you. Only $20 per person for a good cause and both young and old can take part in this delicious 'make and donate-a-thon' fundraiser in the inner west Sydney suburb of Croydon Park.
I'm salivating just looking at Pure Gelato's website and their charity day has to be the most interesting charity event I've seen to date. Get in quick and book your tour here as time slots are filling up.
If you can't make it to a tour, then pop in and buy some gelato over the weekend of this event and you will still be helping cancer research with $2 from every sale being donated and you can write your details on the back of your receipt and go in the draw to win some great prizes. Alternatively, you can donate online.
Pure Gelato have been in business since 1994 and have over 150 flavours of gelato to choose from. They also do birthday cakes, gelato-filled hazelnut & chocolate cups and gelato terrines. All of their products use natural ingredients with fruit being hand selected and farm fresh milk and cream. There are no artificial colours or flavours here. Lots of tubs in 1, 2 and 5 litre containers as well as smaller cups to take away, from refreshing Lemon Granita and sorbets to creamy, dairy varieties. They even make diabetic gelato, soy-based gelato, some gluten free, egg free and nut free flavours, catering to different requirements. Waffle cones along with other ice cream accessories are also available to purchase.
