Surf's up, puppers! Today, we're introducing a brand new event for
Surfing Queensland! Established in 1964, Surfing Queensland is the recognised not-for-profit peak State body entrusted to develop the sport of surfing in the state. These industry professionals have designed
Pups on Sups 2017 to cater to all of the community - for you, your friends, your family, and of course, your furry best mate!
Kicking off at 10am and finishing at 2pm, Pups on Sups 2017 is based on the beautiful Currumbin River in Queensland; all are invited, regardless of experience level - that includes first timers if you're feeling particularly brave!
2KM SOCIAL PADDLE - pups are at the front of the stand-up paddle board, doing a fast loop of the Currumbin Creek Inlet to ensure all of the onlookers can watch the full race unfold!
250M DASH FOR CASH - a short but sweet race for participants to score themselves (and, of course, their pup) some cash!

Of course, a visit to the beach is not complete without ice cream! Don't forget to drop by
Hugo's Ice Creamery's stall and grab your pooch a doggy ice cream! All of their ice creams are lovingly made by hand, using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. This frozen treat that your pup will be sure to love is both healthy and delicious! Three delightful flavours, made from human-grade ingredients, are available:
Eddy and Sam love Hugo's! Eddy's favourite is salmon, and Sam's favourite is peanut butter and bacon. Yum!
