I have always enjoyed university theatre; both on stage and off. There are always so many new people to meet from all walks of life and there is always something interesting happening at any time of the year.
Murdoch Theatre Company (MTC) smashes open the doors of it's 2016 season with their newest show
Punk Rock, written by Simon Stephens with arrangements by Origin Theatrical on behalf of Samuel French.
Directed by Tay Broadley and Justin Crossley,
Punk Rock focuses on the struggles and conflicts that high-schoolers face during their teenage years. Nobody quite understands inner turmoil quite like a teenager; waging a silent war with themselves. Trying to find any sense of meaning and identity in a world working against them.
MTC encourages new and theatre-loving people to join its ranks to share their love for theatre with Perth. If you're looking for theatrical outlet but don't know where to look, come along and book tickets to
Punk Rock. This is a great opportunity for those who wish to broaden their theatrical horizons and support local talent.
Ticket costs are $15 for standard and $10 for concession.
Bookings can be made on
Trybooking and for show information or general MTC news, head on over to the official
