is located at 88 Limestreet in the centre of Ipswich. It's a little hard to find at you enter the back way via South Street. There is limited parking at the back. Once you have arrived there are plenty of tables and stools to perch on.

The place has an Industrial looking feel and was once the original site for the supply of water to the town. (Hence the name). It's the home of 4Hearts Brewing .

My dining companion started with the tasting tray of beers. This is a good way to find out which beers you like the most. Beers are available in pot, schooner or pint size. He enjoyed the stout and the pale ale.

If you particularly like one of the beers on tap you can get a 2 litre stainless-steel growler to take home. There is a rotating list of guest beers and ciders from microbreweries around Australia.

There are typical menu options to choose from including pizza, burgers, fish and chips and a kids menu. We ordered a margherita gluten-free pizza with buffalo mozzarella. My companion ordered the jerk chicken with mango slaw. The potato fries were a spicy addition with aioli sauce.

I then ordered the chocolate brownie with ale ice-cream. It was very sweet and best shared between two people.

If you want to book ahead ask for a table in the outside area.
