Located on the beautiful Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas, the pool villa was the perfect accommodation option for our party of five to stay in for a week.
They offer plenty of space for groups in the large three bedroom villa, equipped with proper kitchen and a dinning table for eight.
Outside, there is a barbeque with dining table, and a pool, which offered shady respite in the afternoon. Perfect for those with small kids in need of an afternoon sleep - no need to halt your holiday while having to return to the room for a few hours.
The rooms also have the bonus of a washer and dryer, so if staying for awhile, you don't need to pack too much.
There is a reasonably priced restaurant on site, and a shuttle into town for those without a car - but there is plenty of free parking at the resort, so a hire car can be used throughout your stay, if you wish to explore further afield.
The resort is built around the massive lagoon pool, which is flame lit at night to extend the swimming until late in the evening. There are plenty of sun lounges around the edges for those that wish for some peaceful space, away from the crowds. Swim up rooms have their own poolside lounges, along with their own direct access to the pool.
If staying in a group, or as a family, there's no better place to stay, as the rooms provide the space to relax, with ample lounge rooms as well as large bedrooms.
You can cover a lot of ground in Far North Queensland, seeing the World Heritage rainforest and reef, so it's great at the end of the day to relax in an inviting home, with that touch of luxury.
