It's Dad's Day so do something Dad loves - take him to the
Dads, beer, pubs, they go hand in hand don't they? So if you need some inspiration as what to do with your Dad on Father's Day why not head on out to North Western Sydney and take Dad to visit one of the great pubs listed below or if you really feel like treating him do a pub crawl and visit all three (just make sure you've got your designated driver!).

The Australian Hotel and Brewery

Open from 10.00am on Sunday, Dad will certainly love this brewery/ pub. Dad can do a tour of the brewery and meet the brewer. Why not order Dad a beer "Tasting Platter" which is an Aussie map shaped wooden board that holds a sample of each of the brewery's beers. Once Dad's appetite is whetted let him choose something from the beer inspired menu for lunch or dinner. If you have kids in your family they can happily play in the huge enclosed playgrounds (they have 2!) or they can exhaust themselves on the jumping castle that the brewery are supplying as a special treat for kids on the day. Bookings advisable. 350 Annangrove Rd, Rouse Hill 9679 4555

The Ettamogah Pub

The Ettamogah Pub, Kellyville

This iconic pub, that looks like it is almost going to topple over is a great place to take Dad for a fun day on Father's Day. Opened from 8am why not treat Dad to a pub breakfast? (This is would be a great place to start the pub crawl!). There will be a jumping castle and face painting to keep the rug rats occupied and live entertainment for the whole family from Midday. If you are stopping by for lunch or dinner, their huge menu covers all of Dad's favourites. Examples are the Pot Pie, Char Grilled Steaks - cooked to Dad's specifications, or the good ol' schnitty. Bookings advisable. Cnr Merriville & Windsor Rds, Kellyville Ridge 96291130

The Mean Fiddler

Free Beer! Say no more! Dad will love you for taking him to the Mean Fiddler that's for sure. Their $39.00 special deal for a BBQ meat platter will surely impress your Dad (maybe not if he is vegetarian) as will all of the other delicious tucker the kitchen at the Mean Fiddler produces. Yet again their will be entertainment for the kids and live music for everyone else. Make sure you book a table - we don't want Dad to miss out on some free beer do we? Your Comment
I love the Ettamogh pub; it looks like it is in the middle of a bayou, and I would half expect alligators to pop out.
