Love art? Love FREE events and the chance to win great prizes? Come and check out the fun and immersive Public Art Week program, proudly presented by City of Melville.
Held from 29th April to 7th May 2017, this is a special opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the many public artworks located in our parks and civic buildings.
The City of Melville wants you to get involved and share your favourite public artworks on social media channels - so get clicking as there some fabulous prizes up for grabs!
Look out for the bright and colourful signs throughout the week signalling a public art work. Installation artist April Pine's bright yellow human figures including a pet dog will also be popping up, so keep an eye out for them too!
This event is part of the City of Melville's new Public Art Strategy and residents are invited to participate in a community survey during Public Art Week.
Artworks will be identified with a colourful sign during Public Art Week, with a map of locations available for download here.
The community survey will close on Saturday 13th May and prizes for the best photos of public artworks announced the following week.
