PUBLIC is Perth's first urban street art festival, set to be launched from the 5th to 13th of April in the Perth CBD and its surrounds. This inaugural and highly anticipated major art program unfolds with Public: Art in the City - a 9 day period in which the public spaces of Perth City and Northbridge will come alive with large-scale artwork being created by some of the world's most famous and well-known urban digital and visual artists.



PUBLIC is a larger multi-year project by FORM that celebrates and brings together creativity and urban art in Perth, where its city walls and laneways will be transformed with creative installations, street art, murals, projections and events to create a unique cultural experience. The onset of PUBLIC places Perth as an emerging international street art hotspot, where more than 30 blank walls will be the canvasses for more than 40 international, national and local artists to unleash their talent and leave permanent, lasting impressions in the city to make Perth's CBD a more colourful and vibrant place to be.


Leading artists from all over the globe will be contributing to Perth's transformation, bringing in contemporary artists from the USA, UK, Italy, Canada, Belgium, Argentina, Mexico, France, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, as well as local talents from Perth. celebrates the contribution of art to community life, showcases the various facets of our city and brings to light the cultural diversity of our urban and regional environment.


The works in these transformed spaces will come to completion over the weekend of the 11th to 13th April, culminating in Public House Perth , a three day festival taking place on Wolf Lane and King Street in Perth in which the public are invited to enjoy the pop-up installations, live entertainment, artist talks and hospitality.
