There is no denying the popularity of Melbourne's Psychic Expo as it continues its travels. Indeed what would a Melbourne Sunday be without it?

If you have an interest or even an idle curiosity in the psychic, in mediums, clairvoyants and spirit artists or would like a tarot or palm reading; here's your chance. Perhaps you'd like to participate in one of the workshops or meet a medium and bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds. Learn how the tarot cards work. Have your fortune told. Experience some reiki healing. Wonder at the energy of the crystals.

The Psychic Expo is scheduled at the locations listed below over autumn. If you have never delved into this why not keep an open mind and treat yourself to a new experience or just turn up to sate your curiosity and have a bit of fun.

Set aside some time, the expo has much for you to enjoy. Participants vary but typically the expo includes the following.

Mediums use their psychic ability to tune into a person's spiritual energy in order to see the past, present or future events of that person. Mediums can make connections with loved ones who have passed away.

Clairvoyants have the ability to see things that are hidden and have at times been credited with finding lost children or assisting police in solving crimes. Clairvoyance is closely related to Extra Sensory Perception.

Tarot Readings are about you; what is happening for you now, how you are feeling, what you want, what you fear and can also be used to answer specific questions. People consult the tarot for advice.

Aura Readings are based on a person's energy field seen by psychics as a light surrounding a person's body.

Spirit Artists connect with spirit people, loved ones who have passed away or spirit guides, through painting or drawing. These artists may themselves be clairvoyants or may work with a clairvoyant. Barbara Price-Rees, well known medium and spirit artist is a frequent participant in the Expo. Barbara will be attending on March 6th and 13th, April 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, and May 1st and 22nd.

Astrology deals with the impact of cosmic objects on human life based on the relative position of the sun, moon, planets and stars at the time of a person's birth. Most people will be well aware of the horoscope and their own astrological sign.

Numerology is the belief that numbers have a mystic or divine relationship with aptitudes, tendencies, character, purpose and motivation. Victor Tracey , reputedly Australia's best numerologist has participated in past Expos.

Reiki, also referred to as hands-on healing or palm healing was developed in Japan in 1922 and is based on the concept of a transfer of universal energy from the Reiki healer to the patient.

Palm Readers interpret the lines on the palms of your hand to predict your future. Palmistry is thought to have been practiced since ancient Babylonian times. Many of you will already be familiar with your life line, the line from the edge of the palm above the thumb that travels in an arc towards the wrist and is believed to represent a person's wellbeing.

Massage can be both healing and relaxing and the expo is as much about wellness as it is psychic phenomena.

Natural Healing has become increasingly popular in recent years and is readily embraced in mainstream society. Lisa Newman of Crystal Insight Healing and Art joined the Expo before Christmas and we can only hope she will become a regular. Lisa is a spiritual healer and artist who incorporates crystals, chakras, herbs, oil and colour into her work.

Retail Stalls. Amongst the retail stalls you might find tarot cards, candles, books, crystals, selenite lamps, salt lamps, and jewellery. Past Retailers have included Lady and the Lamp , Maddison Rose Jewellery Designs , and Flying Unicorn Creations .

To get the most out of the day I recommend you arrive early and attend some of the workshops.
