The aim of Project O is to "Share the culture of learning and help to break the poverty cycle through educational support for children in Indonesia."

On Saturday 19th July, from 12pm to 4pm, Project O is holding a batik workshop. Batik is an Indonesian art of decorating cloth using wax and dye.

In this workshop, you will not only learn to make batik, but will produce your own batik creation, and get the thrill that comes from creating your own unique piece. All the materials are supplied.

The workshop is being held at Zen Apartments, 25 - 27 Therry Street, Melbourne.

The cost is $10 per person. All are welcome, but numbers are limited to 20 participants, so if you'd like to attend, please RSVP to Felicia Moningkai (0450 091 706), or Harry Sofri (0431 612 757).

The proceeds from this workshop will go directly to Project O's partner, YCAB Foundation, which is a non-profit organisation that helps underprivileged children in Indonesia to gain better education.
