A great place to stop in the Lockyer Valley
How often have you found yourself driving between Brisbane and Toowoomba, and needed somewhere convenient to stop and give the kids a break?

Progress Park at Helidon in the Lockyer Valley provides the perfect answer to this problem. The park is just a short distance from the motorway on the left-hand side, if travelling from Toowoomba to Brisbane (take the Helidon turnoff).

Progress Park is well thought out for travelling families in need of a break. There are toilets, picnic shelters, and gas BBQs as well as drinking water.

There is also a playground for children and a basketball hoop for older kids and teenagers. All of this is set on the edge of a large playing field, perfect for running out some of that pent-up energy after a long stint in the car.

So, next time you're travelling along the Lockyer Way, why not stop in at Progress Park for a break? Your kids are bound to thank you for it.
