I live in a house with 1 very patient husband, 1 Corella, 4 galahs, 3 cockatiels and my little soul mate - Swiz the lorikeet. In the back yard we have a very messy garden and 3 free range rescued ex-battery hens.
Birds just come to us - sick, injured or lost. In between writing and looking after the birds I enjoy gardening.

I endeavour to tell stories, post photos and and keep people up to date about our rescue birds. I plan on converting our bird rescue endeavors into a not for profit charity.
I have also just started volunteering for RuFus as a Grants Request Writer.
