An agile thinker and versatile wordsmith, Jasmine specialises in writing about music, film, travel, sustainability and human rights. She's currently a Senior Writer at Concrete Playground, a Senior Writer at Music Australia and a regular contributor to Metro and Screen Education film and media magazines. Her portfolio also includes Cambridge University Press, Artwrite (UNSW), Drum Media (now known as The Music), Inpress and Jazz Australia.

Jasmine studied at English Literature and Modern History at the University of Sydney, where she was awarded First Class Honours for her thesis on the role of African-American music in the Civil Rights Movement.

She also writes songs and performs under the name Jasmine Beth.
