Introducing Product Design 2012 – a workshop style presentation where innovative ideas will be explored by some of Australia's top innovators. From the conceiving stage, through to designing, funding and ultimately launching online products to the world, you will be surrounded by some of the most brilliant minds in an effort to make your idea a reality.
Some of the guest speakers include Leni Mayo, who is a founding investor in 99designs.com, "the world's largest online marketplace for…graphic design". He will also be joined by Shainiel Deo, who is the CEO of Halfbrick, designer of some of the world's most popular mobile game apps. He has also developed a number of titles for Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, XBOX, and the PS2, just to name a few.
This presentation is part of the talk series presented by Portable, who have in the past have specially made these sort of programs designed around linking "creative individuals and companies wanting to make the leap into designing online products for international audiences". This is not like a seminar, but is actually more of a meeting place for innovative minds, and also a place to discuss and listen to others' innovations. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and network with like-minded individuals. These sorts of events are quite unique, and organisers have urged those interested in attending to get your tickets as soon as possible.
