Priscilla: Queen of the Desert Costume Exhibition

We all remember the costumes from Stephan Elliott's 1994 Oscar-winning film, Priscilla Queen of The Desert, and during Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) you be able to get up close and personal to some of the costumes from the movie.

Taking place at St Collins Lane, the exhibition was curated by Tim Chappel who won an Academy Award, a BAFTA and an Australian Film Institute award for his costume design in the feature film. He has also won a Tony Award in 2011 for Best Costume Design in a musical.


You can also see Tim's designs if you attend a performance of Priscilla Queen of The Desert musical which is currently being staged at Melbourne's Regent Theatre.
