Over the last decade, more and more babies born before 25 weeks gestation (i.e. more than 4 months earlier) are being looked after in neonatal units, and more and more are surviving. To date, there have not been many research studies that have included or focused on these babies, and it is unclear how they and their families should best be looked after.
This study is to work out what the most important questions are that need answering in this group of babies. These questions will help define important areas to research to improve the healthcare, outcomes and well-being of these babies and their families.
If you are parents of babies born before 25 weeks gestation, your participation in this survey is needed. This survey is the first step in collecting your questions. It will be followed by a second survey to prioritise the questions received. Those who have taken part in the survey will also receive the results.
