Dry Point Printmaking is the art of incising or cutting an image onto a plate, which is then inked onto a piece of paper. The workshop is designed for beginners and introduces students to the basics of printmaking, using a variety of materials including plates, oil and water based inks, papers, tools and presses.



Students learn how to create images on a plate and use a variety of different presses to create various art effects.

The workshop is held at one of Melbourne's most beloved art supplies store Melbourne Etching Supplies, who specialise in printmaking tools.

All materials provided. Materials included: printmaking paper, drypoint needles, ink and copper plate.

Maximum of 5 students per workshop.
