Take along your mini princes and princesses to the . They'll feel like royalty with all of the fun activities to enjoy, and thankfully there is space for mum and dad to sit and relax.

There are multiple play areas at the Princess Margaret Plyaground, and these are all ideally suited to younger children. The main area is much the same as a regular playground, with slides and climbing frames, but much lower to the ground so that toddlers can easily explore it on their own. Near here you'll also find a few swings, a roundabout, and a general store for the kids to play shop in. This whole area is designed for your child to use their imagination and their mind.

The second, smaller, play area is focused around a sandpit. This is a multi-level piece of equipment that children can climb as they play with the sand. There are spades, pipes, and pulleys, so that sand play is fun without anyone throwing sand in anyone's eyes. If your kids are also into building castles, or playing with trucks, this would be a great place to use some of their toys.

There is also space for setting up some ball games like soccer or footy. The park isn't orientated so that you could have a full size game, but nothing would stop you having a kick of the ball. Just be careful that you don't kick any balls over the fence onto the train line, because you might be unlikely to get it back.

Parents can sit and relax while the kids play, on the many picnic tables available. These can also be a good spot to enjoy some lunch, and there is plenty of room to spread out. Children will also enjoy sitting at the smaller special children's table. There are no barbecues at the park, so you won't be able to cook any food, but nothing is stopping you from enjoying some fresh food at the tables or on the grass. You'll also find a toilet block here, so that means you can stay for even longer.

The is perfect if you're taking the kids along, but you wouldn't head here without them. There is so much to keep them occupied, but bring along some toys from home for extra fun. This would also be a good place for mothers' group meet-ups, because all of the equipment is best used with friends.
