The Princess Elizabeth Playground is a fenced play area for children to have fun in the Southern Parklands. With games to play, places to run, and things to climb and explore, children will love visiting this park whenever they get the chance.

Kids can choose from regular swings, or the fun red tire swing, or if they would prefer they can just enjoy the large playground. With multiple slides, climbing frames, and monkey bars there is plenty to challenge children and to help them enjoy themselves. It is a large playground and with various different play areas, so there is plenty of room for many children to all enjoy themselves and play together.

The whole area is designed as a play space for children, so it is very fun and inviting with brightly coloured equipment and lush green grass. Kids can enjoy more than just the playground, with a hopscotch court to hop on, or a footprint path to follow. You could set up a picnic on the grass surrounded by the beautiful flowers and blossoms, and when the kids tire of eating they can run off to the playground.

The playground has a very safe environment, adults are not allowed to enter the playground unless they are accompanied by children, which also means that you do not have to worry about older teens using the space. The area is fenced, so while it is situated by a fairly large road children are not able to freely wander on to it. Unfortunately you won't be able to bring your four-legged friend with you as there are no dogs allowed, this is to maintain the playground as a safe place for kids.

There are not any other facilities at the playground, but if you head right next door to Lundie Gardens you have toilets, barbecues, and picnic benches, so that you can spend your whole day here.

For some more playgrounds in the area check out the Adelaide City Council Website.
