It's that time of the year again, when being, and looking scary is in fashion. Head to the Preston Market at 30 The Centreway, Preston for its celebration of all things Halloween. It's going to be at its spine-chilling best over two days from Fri 27 to Sat 28 October 2023 - from trick or treating to gruesome makeovers, these free Halloween-themed events will have eerie-sistible activities and more, as you can see from the poster above.

Friday 27 Oct 3pm-5.30pm is when the Halloween after-school fun begins. There will be a spooky slime workshop, ghoulish glitter temporary tattoos, fearsome face painting and a roving cast of colourful characters throughout the market. Little and big kids alike will also be able to immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit with Trader Trick or Treat, because that is the Halloween tradition right?

Sat 29 Oct 9.30am-2.30pm brings on Spooky Sue's Salon of Doom. This is the Market’s newest and creepiest vendor, with the ability to perform the most monstrous makeovers, Spooky Sue will be offering free horrifying life-like special effects injuries and frightening face paintings for all those who are willing. Bare your face if you dare, because it's perfect for Halloween parties and other eerie events you may attend after your trip to the market; plus it's free. Therefore it stands to reason there are limited spots available, and it's all on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid disappointment everyone is encouraged to arrive early at Preston Market to book in their Halloween transformation. Spooky Sue’s Salon of Doom will also give you the perfect Halloween picture opportunity if you'd like to capture yourself looking their boo-tiful best.
