PLC are incorporating their 125th Anniversary with an Open Day and Carnival Ride/Fair Starting from midday and concluding in the evening, a firework display will be on offer.

Carnival rides for young and old, science shows and displays that will amaze you. One night only restaurants in the evening, night markets with 70 plus stalls expected, wander around, why not bid at the silent auctions, browse the book and second hand CD and DVD stalls, and check out the local produce, local wares, show bag stands, hot food stalls and cake stalls - PLC outdo themselves every year.

I have been attending these Fairs for the past 6 years and I keep coming back year after year.

Be entertained by performances throughout the afternoon and evening, relax, take a break, while listening to the wonderful PLC's School Band, which includes bag pipes.

Enjoy the light show, disco for under 13 year olds and to top it off fireworks mark the wonderful 125th Anniversary of PLC, Croydon.

Rides can be bought as a band or singular rides. If the rides are anything like last years' look out, there were dodgems, pirate ships, spinning rides, try a high excitement rides like the 'Gravity Defier' and the slides, I believe this year, there is a, bungee trampoline. There is plenty for everyone.

Prices vary between approx $8 for a single ride to $40 for unlimited rides on the field area.

Please be aware - some rides are not included in the unlimited ride band, look for the ride booth/stalls on the day.

For want to be Masterchefs, don't forget to the Sydney Fish Market Cooking School, bookings essential 5pm to 6pm - approx $10.00 limited places.

While you sit down and eat in one of PLC's Restaurants or walk the stalls, children Under 13 may head for the disco.

Wind up your evening, while relaxing and enjoying the light show and spectacular firework display.

Minutes from Croydon Railway Station (Inner West Line) and 5-10 minute walk from Queen/Young Street Croydon Buses .

Please note part of Boundary Street from Young to Robinson Street, Croydon, is closed for the Open Day/Fair.
