Tue 12 Aug 2014
The 2014 South Australian prayer breakfast is a special time when people from all sections of the community - political, civic, business, government, judicial, church, education, trade unions and the professions - meet for a time of reflection, encouragement and prayer.
People from all walks of life and denominations will gather together in unity.
As a past attendee I can highly recommend the food, company and wonderful guest speakers.
The SA Prayer Breakfast is put on by CBMC International, a not-for-profit non-denominational organisation operating in 85 countries, in conjunction with the South Australian Parliamentary Christian Fellowship and City Bible Forum.
Guest Performer
Guest Performer will be Dami Im, winner of the 2013
X Factor.
What many people would not know is that she is also an ambassador of Compassion Australia. She is passionate about using her influence to see children released from poverty in Jesus' name.
Dami posted on her Facebook page recently about her support for Compassion Australia, 'Today I've decided to write some letters to my Compassion kids in India, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Mexico....all over the world! Also going to send them some photos of myself and Noah. I love how Compassion lets you exchange letters with your kids so you're not just sending money but you actually get to know them like having a little pen friend.'
